How the Epson Express Service Centre works…
If you are experiencing a problem, simply visit Swanley Computers (Dartford) Ltd with your product, the ink cartridges installed, your proof of purchase and your warranty details – proof of purchase is usually sufficient.

This can be either a repair or a warranted Epson Replacement printer.
- Repairs and investigation into the fault is not carried out while you wait.
- Should a replacement be required this will be organised through us directly with Epson.
- During your first year of warranty there is no charge for this service.
There is no need to book, just walk in with your printer and let us take care of the rest.

Printers that are not printing clearly often need replacement inks and the cost of the ink will be taken from the deposit. An ink purge can use a lot of ink.
Some Epson printers need the maintenance box replacing and the system will need a firmware reset. The cost of both of these will be taken from the initial deposit. Typical cost is £28.00
Any consumable used whilst carrying out a repair will be deducted from the initial deposit, even if the repair is unsuccessful.
In all cases the cost of the consumables will be taken from the deposit and your refund would be adjusted accordingly, even in the event that we cannot fix it. Should we be able to fix the printer then the cost of the consumables will be added to the £40.00 paid.
As a rough guide inks are usually around £4.00 each. A maintenance tank and system reset typically costs around £28.00. Not all systems need a reset.
Examples
- Your printer has lines through a print (poor printing). We fix the problem using no extra ink or parts – total cost is £40.00
- As above but we are unable to fix the problem – total cost is £40-£20 = £20 refund.
- As 1 above but we use 2 ink cartridges to fix the problem the total cost would be £40 plus the ink cart costs (typically £4.00) – £48.00
- As 3 above but after supplying the ink the printer still has problems the cost would £40 (original deposit) Less £20 (no fix refund) less £8.00 for inks. – £12.00 refund.
These are just a few examples. Any consumables used will be taken from the deposit when calculating the refund amount for a printer that we are unable to repair.
